AB There is an increasingly widely held view among lawmakers and investors that it is time to do something about the transparency of mutual fund operations. The hope that increased transparency will be achieved does not rely solely on additional regulation. More importantly, mutual funds should react positively to the needs of shareholders. This article will present a template designed to guide mutual funds and management companies in providing greater transparency to their shareholders.
